Drew Manning is a renowned health and fitness expert and New York Times best-selling author. He is best known for his viral Fit2Fat2Fit journey, which taught him valuable lessons in empathy and understanding.
Drew Manning grew up in a large family, always active and in shape. In 2009 he became a personal trainer, thinking it would be easy to help those struggling with their weight. After one of his clients called him out on not understanding the difficulty, he decided to gain weight on purpose, and document the journey. After gaining 76 pounds, he realized the power of vulnerability and empathy and was able to lose the weight, gaining a new perspective on the physical and mental transformation of weight loss. His story went viral, leading to a book and two seasons of his own TV show.
